Data Residency and Processing

Where your data is stored, processed, and transmitted

Where Data Is Stored

Pellucis infrastructure and data storage are hosted in cloud environments. Storage locations depend on the services we use; we prioritize jurisdictions that align with Canadian and international data protection requirements. Specific regions are disclosed in our subprocessor list below and may be updated as we add or change providers.

Processing Flow

When you upload documents, they are transmitted securely (TLS/HTTPS) to our processing pipeline. Text is extracted, analyzed by our AI engine, and used to generate your report. Reports and intermediate data may be stored temporarily for delivery and support. We do not use your documents for training or any purpose beyond producing your report.

Subprocessors

We use third-party services for hosting, AI inference, and email delivery. These subprocessors may process or store your data in connection with providing our service. We select providers with strong security and privacy practices and maintain contracts that require appropriate safeguards. A current list of subprocessors is available upon request; contact us if you need details for compliance or due diligence.

Cross-Border Transfers

Some subprocessors may operate in jurisdictions outside Canada. When we transfer data across borders, we ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g., contractual clauses, adequacy decisions) are in place where required by law. If you have specific residency requirements, contact us to discuss options.
